I'm training for a marathon right now, and it takes up a lot of time. The long runs get a bit boring after 15 km, but I still have to push through. I never feel like doing them, but once I'm done, I'm always glad I did. What works for me is doing my longest run early in the week, right after work in the evening. This helps a lot — otherwise I'd spend the whole week dreading it.

This is the first post in the community! Yesterday I had a win. I went to the gym and did a push workout. After that, I was pretty tired, but I still had to do a 5 km interval run on the treadmill. I didn’t feel like doing it at all — but I did it anyway. I had made a promise to myself: at least once a week, I go for a run. Even if it’s not convenient. Even if I’m tired. Especially on those days. That’s the standard I’m trying to build.
